You can search the Bamboo Store for hardy bamboo and highly ornamental grasses such as Miscanthus Pennisetum and Stipa grasses as well as by both Latin or common name or by characteristics.

In the Bamboo Store you will find an exciting range of UK hardy bamboo including Phyllostachys, Fargesia and Semiarundinaria and a range ornamental grass plants available to add style structure and wonderful animation to your garden.

Many of the plants we stock have been awarded the RHS. Royal Horticultural Society AGM, 'Award of Garden Merit'. With the exception of one or two species of bamboo and grasses. All the bamboo and grasses we supply are highly ornamental, and totally winter hardy, and therefore suitable for planting throughout the United Kingdom.

Many Bamboos such as Pseudosasa Japonica Metake and Fargesia Jui make excellent hedges and screens. Fast growing thick and very attractive plants they will reach two to two and a half meters within two or three years. For taller boundaries and wind breaks the fresh grasshopper green Bissettii offers excellent cold hardy qualities braving the most brutal conditions we are likely to experience in the United Kingdom
